I'm back (kinda)

Well I'm back to my blog again.  Can't say I have gotten used to having a blog, not one to type out my day all the time but I shall try for those fans out there that I don't think exist.  Anyway I believe my last blog talked about how I didn't like the newest album of Linkin Park's A Thousand Suns.  Well after listening to it for a few months now it's kinda grown on me, but only when I listen to a few songs or you play the album in order.  From tracks 1-5 I believe there is a nice flow going on that you can't even tell they switch tracks.  So LP is back on my good side :P.  Some other new albums that I really liked recently are Nightmare by Avenged Sevenfold, Asylum by Disturbed and Audio Secrecy by Stone Sour.  I also have a few jingles in my head but I'll probably link them later.

So stuff is going good, keeping busy doing reviews, studying up on the latest games ;), and working too much.  I can't wait for this Christmas season to get over so it will be less busy at my workplace.  I would really really like to quit but I doubt I'm alone in that.  I'm probably going to be doing a few game reviews in a row since there are so many new games coming out these last couple months.  Hope you guys don't mind.  If you'd rather me review another movie let me know!

My news and some stuff on Linkin Park

Nothing new for awhile but didn't want to leave whoever reads this blog with nothing to do!  So I've been working part-time at 2 jobs making some semblance of money.  Making plans for the future and planning what to do from here on out.  Hopefully it's as exciting as I plan it to be :).

Hmmm I listened to the new Linkin Park CD and I've gotta say, I have followed them since Hybrid Theory and even stuck with them through Minutes to Midnight where lots of people jumped off.  But now that I've heard A Thousand Suns I've gotta say I'm not impressed...  I can only stand 2 of the songs, The Catalyst and Waiting for the End.  Everything else is nothing I want to listen to and it kind of pains me to dump them as a favorite band but they are not the same band I had grown to love.  I know they have the freedom to change up their style however they want and I respect that but I also have the freedom to not listen to their new stuff.  Just know I've been playing Hybrid Theory on repeat for the last few days in a nostalgic gesture.

New blog

Hello readers!

This is my first blog so I'll just fill you in on what I am up to.  Been playing Halo: Reach on my new Xbox250gb system, both of those are sexy.  Also been trying to get some time in Final Fantasy XIV and I'm pretty sure I'm going to continue my subscription for awhile.  The game seems really solid and most of the bugs have been worked out from the Beta.  Everyone that was worried about the fatigue system really has nothing to be worried about, I know friends who have been playing for a long time and not hit the blocks yet.  Here is a good video showing the system.

No new movies in awhile, I haven't had the resources or time to see anything in theaters, but hopefully soon that will change.  Got a pre-order down on Call of Duty: Black Ops.  Not too pumped for the game but I know I'll end up playing it anyway so why not pre-order.

Nothing else is really new.  Just working, playing, and reviewing.  Hopefully this wasn't too dull for you, but hey it's free and you read this far so deal with it.

 Till next time
